Glenrothes Picture Clocks
3 different views to choose from!
These picture clocks showing views around Glenrothes in Fife make very attractive gifts. There are currently
three different views to select from. The one above features a view overlooking "The Defenceless One"
statue in Riverside Park, and the park is a lovely location to wander around and relax in.
The clock you see above features an image of the Iris Sculpture, one of many well known sculptures around Glenrothes. Public sculptures are a prominent feature around Glenrothes, and though this particular image only shows 2 of the Iris flowers, there are about 6 of them in a group near the main park, and they do make
quite a striking display.
Another popular sculpture, "The Dream" is one made up of 5 children playing a game and perhaps dreaming
of what the future holds for them? With the red flowers arranged around the front of the base of the sculpture,
it makes for another striking image. This sculpture is currently located near the town centre in Glenrothes..
All these clocks make attractive souvenirs for relations or friends visiting Glenrothes, or indeed for locals to
take to friends when going on holiday to see them, and they shall be a nice way to keep track of time. They
would also be ideal gifts for Christmas or indeed for any other time of the year.
The body of the unit is in the "block" style with a black surround to the frame. The movements
are good quality quartz battery movements which require an "AA" size battery for power
(not supplied). A strut is provided for desk standing, and there are also hanging slots on
the reverse for wall hanging.
Our clocks do not come boxed, but they shall be well wrapped for posting.
Overall clock dimensions are 7.5" x 5.25" x1/2" deep (all sizes approximate).
