Our Gift Mugs are good quality mugs in various forms (currently Ceramic, Bone China, Children's Ceramic Mugs & Frosted Glass Mugs). They all have a specially treated exterior coating to allow us to print your chosen design onto them. Most of these mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, and we normally place a label on the gift item box to say this. Some items may not be suitable for either a dishwasher or microwave, and these products should be hand-washed only. There will normally be a label on the box of such products to advise you of this, and it will also be described as such on the item page on this site.

All sizes quoted below are approximate and are the overall item sizes. The actual print area sizes will be slightly smaller than that.

The standard adults Ceramic Gift Mugs are 90mm high by 80mm diameter, but this can change slightly depending on available supplies.

Bone China Gift Mugs are 103mm high by 73mm diameter. The style of handle can change from any illustrated on our site depending on available supplies.

Frosted Glass Gift Mugs are 95mm high by 80mm diameter.

Children's or Adult Espresso Gift Mugs are 73mm high by 78mm diameter.

Gift Mugs come in a presentation box which may vary depending on the size of the mug. We then put additional wrapping around the box and insert that into a corrugated mailing box for posting out to you if it's a single mug you've ordered or alternative suitable mailing packaging if you've ordered multiple gift mugs.

Our Coasters are wood-based which, like our Gift Mugs above, have been treated for sublimation printing on the white front side. Coasters should only need to be wiped clean with a moist cloth - do not immerse in water.

Sublimation printing is a process that uses specialist inks and papers for printing directly onto a wide range of treated blank gift items such as described above. The image designs are transferred onto the products in high temperature presses which means the image is bonded into the body of the item, and provided the care instructions above are followed, the resulting finish is permanent.
